Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Beeson Designs collects through beesondesigns.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what you send us and basic visit statistics, we use it to reply to you and improve the site, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Beeson Designs is a marketing and design studio based in Orange County, California, run by Bryan Beeson. Questions about this policy can be sent to bryan@beesondesigns.com.
Information you give us
When you use the project inquiry form, you provide your name and email address, and you may choose to provide your business name, website, the services you are interested in, a project description, timing, and a budget range. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, how visitors arrive (for example, from a search or a link), general location (city or region), device and browser type, and actions such as playing the reel, opening a brand identity, or sending an inquiry. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. We do not use it to identify you personally.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use information
- To read and respond to your inquiry and to discuss and quote your project.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not add you to a mailing list from the inquiry form, and we do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Formspree, which delivers inquiry form submissions to our email.
- Google (Google Analytics and, for email, our email provider), which processes visit statistics and stores our correspondence.
- Netlify, which hosts the website.
These providers have their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry messages and related emails for as long as needed to respond, work together, and keep reasonable business records, then delete them when no longer needed. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Analytics account.
Your choices
- Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Do Not Track. Browsers handle Do Not Track signals inconsistently, and the site does not currently change its behavior in response to them.
- Your information. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing bryan@beesondesigns.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents
If you live in California, you may have rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, email bryan@beesondesigns.com. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reputable providers to handle form submissions and email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as passwords or payment details through the form.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as Instagram and businesses shown in our work. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
